Kolo’s ‘Berlin Through My Lens’ Walking-Tour Exhibition
To Feature Berlin Original Photography, Art and Writing At Five Shops In or Near Berlin Mitte
BERLIN (Oct. 20, 2009) – Members of the creative community of Berlin will share their varied interpretations of their
city, each using a blank Kolo book as their canvas, at a free three-week walking- tour exhibition at five shops
throughout Berlin, Nov. 9 – 30.
The “Berlin Through My Lens” Exhibition is sponsored by Kolo, the
world’s leading brand of luxury archival-quality photo albums, photo
books, blank books and boxes, with headquarters in the United States.
Photographers, artists, writers and poets from Berlin and around the
world will display their Berlin-theme work in Kolo books at the
following Berlin retail shops, all within walking distance of one
another: Aarven at Rosa-Luxemburg-Strasse 2; Hauptsache at Rosenthaler
Strasse 32 ; Leporello at Rykestrasse 46; Monochrom-Berlin at
Ackerstrasse 23-26; and Sieben Wuensche at Tucholskystrasse 45.
Brochures with maps for the walking-tour exhibition are available at each of the five locations listed above.
Anyone
interested in having their work displayed is asked to bring their
finished Berlin-theme Kolo book to Hauptsache, Rosenthaler Strasse 32,
Berlin, on or before Oct. 30 at 20:00 (8 p.m.). Books will be reviewed
by a panel of creative professionals to be considered for inclusion in
the exhibition. Participation is free.
