Q. Are your products archival and safe for photos?A. All Kolo products are archival, acid free, and lignin free. Kolo products meet or exceed the standards set forth by the United States Library of Congress.
Q. How do I clean a Kolo Cloth Covered Album?A. We suggest using a Dry Cleaning Pad for removing basic finger prints and other dirt or particles. The brand Staedtler (www.staedtler-usa.com) manufactures a Dry Cleaning Pad # 926 05, that works well. It's sold in most art supply and drafting stores. Avoid using soap or water on any Kolo products. This will only stain the album.
Q. Can I have a product custom made by Kolo?A. At the present time, Kolo does not offer this service.
Q. Can I order an album with different color pages than the one it comes with?A. At the present time, Kolo does not offer this option.
Q. What is the "B", "LX", or "D" symbol next to a dealer's name on the store locator?A. Each retailer is designated with an appropriate symbol based on the range of products that the retailer carries. "B" or Boutiques, carry at the largest Kolo selection with an official store-within-store. "LX" dealers carry minimally 70% of the Kolo selection and "D" or dealers carry minimally 40%.
